RUBBISH: Portland Clean-Up Event:
Back by popular demand, we will be partnering with Rubbish Portland again to help clean up Portland’s city streets!
Rubbish does a fantastic job organizing this local event, including supplying track pick-up supplies, disposal, and an exciting atmosphere!
This event is free (donation optional) and open to the public – bring your friends, kids, and neighbors! Register below on Rubbish's website, but let us know you’re coming (midamaine@gmail.com) so we can look out for you there!

About the event:
Through community and neighborhood trash clean-up events, RUBBISH sparks conversation and engagement around avoiding single-use plastic, rethinking our waste stream, and the connection between the trash on our streets and the well-known issue of marine plastic pollution.
Come join us for a community trash clean-up, get your trash on, and enjoy a social gathering. And as always - you can win some pretty amazing raffle prizes too!

(bags, buckets, and grabbers provided. BYO gloves and/or clean-up supplies if you have them!)
